Dr Chan did not stop there and he went further on and received his Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2016 which required at least 500 more continuating education credits after he received his MAGD plus a minimum of 100 hours of dental related community services.

Besides committing to life-long learning, Dr. Chan is also very keen on teaching and sharing what he has learned with other dentists and dental students. He is currently a part-time Clinical Instructor teaching dental students at Harvard School of Dental Medicine Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences.
